I'm going with this draft hypothesis:
People who only get 1 card in their first year of credit history aren't penalized for it in the TU FICO 8 score version on any characteristic related to new accounts alone.
That may be different at EQ and EX, with their own customized versions of FICO 8.
@Tinkegrrl : Did you see score gains at exactly 1 year and 0 months credit file age, that might have something to do with aging alone?
