Abound FCU 5% gas/auto card

Quarterly 5% Cash Back for the abound CU is currently: - Gym Memberships - Purchases at Sporting Goods Stores - Meal Prep Deliveries The meal prep deliveries is an interesting bonus. I feel most grocery cash back cards exclude meal kits.

Do meal prep kits usually come from grocery stores? I'm not familiar with them, but always thought they came from independent vendors like Blue Apron. I never considered how they may be coded, but is there a different coding that they would use to differentiate them from "grocery?" Maybe someone that's ordered meal prep kits before can chime in with some coding information, as I'm curious about it.

We did some of the kits for a while, mainly HelloFresh. Looking back on my statements from Capital One it appears that they coded as grocery. But notably most grocery cash back cards state that they exclude meal kits, like the terms from the Amex BCP:

You will earn a reward of 6% on the first $6,000 of eligible purchases in a calendar year (then 1%) at supermarkets located in the U.S. (superstores, convenience stores, warehouse clubs, and meal-kit delivery services are not considered supermarkets)

I don’t think they would let me get this one or I would try maybe.

Doing a little research, and they state multiple times in the fine print that the 'rewards' are automatically redeemed monthly as a statement credit. Can anyone confirm that this is how their rewards work?

No Geofence for military and federal civilian I qualify as a gs-2210-11 (civilian equivalent captain). Super low on the list though. The exact wording says “per statement cycle” which to me means unlimited gas and 2k per month on the quarterly rotators.
