EX2: +8, 721 -> 729. Negative reason codes: No change Experian FICO 8: +9 points. Aggregate 6% -> 5%. Usually, I see a score increase crossing 4.5%. Kudos to Cassie for discovering that threshold. Individual 2 revolvers reporting 99 & 100% individual utilization. Amount of Debt rating No change. AWB Open revolving accounts went from 3 to 2 reporting a balance. Negative reason codes: No change

TU8 scored 744 around the timeframe as post 1. BoA, BECU provided free score. Not sure exactly on AWB, utilization, etc. I'd have to dig and compare their SP date against VS 3.0 reports. Negative reason codes: Proportion of balances to credit limits on bank/national revolving or other revolving accounts is too high. Length of time revolving accounts have been established. (I'll put the above into post 1 later) Last 3 bureau pull I did was February 1st. For EQ & TU: Aggregate 6%. AWB 5 of 11 open revolvers reporting a balance. No maxed out revolvers. Below is EQ8 and TU8 for the same update as post 20. I’ve always wondered about the AWB thresholds, and one time wondered if they might not be at 20, 40, 60, 80, seems like I remember a 15. But BWB is a metric as well I believe. As well as retail could be considered totally separately on certain bureaus, IIRC. So try to avoid retail cards and be mindful of BWB as well. @AllZero wonderful job testing look forward to your conclusions! Yes we don’t know whether ABORT or BWB may be playing a role as well. As Cassie said, we found a reference to ABORT once and BWB appears to be a scoring factor.

I'm glad to share the data points for us review. A while back I tested BBS' 0 -> 100% -> 0 AWB. Mine were revolvers, no retail, and a optimized installment loan. No reaction from EX8. I'll have to dig through the files for EX2. I'm currently back up to 4 of 11 AWB. In a week or so, the 2 maxed out cards will report zero. Then, I'll pull a 3 bureau report when at 2 of 11 AWB report.

lol. That would be funny if it's on the way down. I may have read that post or something similar to it. It seems losing points is so much easier to do. Just get a 180 day delinquency, a collection or two, repo and you're on your way.

Good to know you found no reaction on EX8 related to AWB. I find it so strange that it was designed that way such that EX8 is bulletproof to that metric where TU/EQ are clearly impacted and somewhat significantly.

That's the one thing I like about EX8. As long as utilization is reasonable, one is not penalized for accounts with balance. I do like EQ and TU for scoring me higher, though. It seems they score me higher for account age compared to EX?
