Prices on products we were shopping on a regular went through the roof during the Pandemic. I had all but sd'd my Amex Amazon business card (non-Prime version). A few months back while pricing out a few big ticket items online we noticed Amazon was inline with reality again. On that note I decided to pc the card to the Prime card with the Af. I have no regrets. I love, love, love having a perpetual float at 0 interest on rather large purchases for 90 days. I love having the choice between floating 90 days compared to 60 days on my previous non-Prime Amex card or choosing the cb option. I like having choices, this card is a business tool I appreciate and wanted to share with others. Any card that allows a float at any given time is a plus. Also, it's metal....sort of. It feels metal but not like my Savor did. It's sturdy, heavy....rather sexy:) I like it.

I wish I used Amazon solely for this card. It's such a pretty card and the points you mentioned seem super useful for a business. I'd totally get it if I had an open Amex card slot.

People consider the Amazon *Prime* versions of the cards (which have different benefits from their non-Prime versions) to have an AF since you have to have Prime to have them. In the case of the business cards, a personal Prime account doesn't count, which is why they made the Prime Duo membership as a $69 charge if you link a personal Prime account.

I know you're talking about whether or not Amex charges an AF on this or the non-prime card. I know you read up thread what AF I was referring to though. I clearly explained that. So to keep things clear..... 1. Amex does not charge an AF for either Amazon Business cc or Amazon Prime Business cc. 2. Amazon charges a Prime Membership Annual Fee in order to have the black cc...the Amazon Prime Business cc. 3. Amazon does refer to their Prime Business Membership Fee as an "Annual Fee" as shown in SS above. 4. Amazon does offer different Prime Business Membership AF's per business needs. See link above. Either way you slice it.....you're gonna pay a Fee Annually in order to hold this acct.

One point of note - you don't have to pay for Duo or another Business Amazon Prime to get the Business Prime Amazon card, you just need to keep Prime on your personal account and link the two. I just double checked and my Amazon Business card is still listed as the Prime version on my Business account even though I don't pay for Duo and haven't had a Duo account in over a year. I don't get the Prime Duo benefits like no free shipping on small orders on the business side but I still get 5% cash back with the Business Amazon card on either side. I was mistaken when I thought you had to have a Duo or higher business account.

On DoC..(offer expired) but the free discount continues at latest thru Sept 2023. It's the second one offered in two years. I found it after your post here about the first offer.
