https://www.credit.com . It specifically says 'Experian VS3 every 14 days", which is exactly how I remember using it. They also started offering the full slate of 28 credit scores over a year ago.

Ah yes, I do recall now. The reason I stopped going there was because I was getting a "technical failure" error message any time I tried to log in. That's probably been going on for a year now, maybe longer. I did just reach out to customer support regarding it. It's got to be a common error though, as in their drop down list of contact reasons a "technical failure message" is an option. I never had a reason to "fix" the account until now, so I guess I'll wait to see what they can do. Does your gut say fluke/error of some sort regarding the 850?

I was thinking it's either due to an aging threshold or something to do with them updating the score model last year to eliminate medical debt under $500. (You didn't have the medical debt, I know, but maybe they inadvertently changed something else?) Anything showing green under VS3 Aging Metrics in our AAoA calculator? (Regardless of whether we've confirmed a threshold, I set it to show Average ages in green when they're on a 6m boundary, and 3m for many of the Youngest ones.)

Don't you have Chase cards? They give ex vs3. Nav.com also gives ex vs3

Good call. I guess I always just assumed it was TU VS3 from Chase since that's the most common. I rarely ever click on Credit Journey. My EX VS3 matches my TU VS3 at 837, so EQ VS3 is still the anomaly at 850. Also @Cassie just a FYI regarding credit.com, I heard back from CS and they said it was due to a freeze on my reports / they can't access report data with a freeze in place. That's obviously BS, as all other lenders access my bureau data all the time with freezes in place and all provide me with current VS3s if offered. The only other source I've ever run into this with is Synchrony and their VS4, which can't be produced with frozen reports.

Just a quick update here. My 850 is back to 838. It remained at 850 from 7/9 through 7/21. Between 7/21 and today 7/25 I had 2 reported balances update. One account balance increased by $95, the other decreased by $63. The net gain of $32 brought me to overall revolving debt dollars reported to $3251.

I guess I'll chalk the 850 up to a fluke, as those reported balances certainly had nothing to do with the score change.
