Chase loves me.
I got a little $1100 increase on my Amazon card, making it $17,500.
A little background:
I was approved for this card on May 1 with a $21.3k limit that about knocked me out of my chair. It was by far my highest SL and matched my highest CL at the time. I don't really shop at Amazon that much, so I moved $4.9k of that over to my Sapphire Preferred, making it $17.5K and bringing the Amazon card down to $16.4k.
Last week the website showed both the Freedom Flex and the Amazon Prime cards available for increases. I requested one for the CFF. Got the 7-10 day message and later got notified that it was denied. Website still showed the Amazon card available. I wasn't sure I should poke that bear, but I couldn't resist. Apped and got the 7-10 day message again. A day or two later, this morning, I noticed that my CL had gone up from $16.4k to $17.5k. No message on the website, no email, they just snuck in a little extra on my CL.
This brings my exposure with Chase up to $46k, which is almost 64% of my annual income (or maybe closer to 67%, depending on how you want to figure my income).
I'm 6/24 but my Chase score tends to be much higher than what any of the CRAs score me, like well over 800. (Was 861 in January when I got the CSP. I haven't seen the Chase score since, but my Experian scores have gone up slightly.) Aggregate utilization is down to 4%. Utilization on Chase cards is 0 since I just paid off some stuff. I have the CFF, CSP, and this Amazon Prime. Recently opened a checking account with Chase and I'm expecting my $300 welcome bonus any day
