Does anyone have any info on this scoring model? I've seen a few posts on Reddit recently where US Bank has used it for a CLI request. I've seen multiple instances of individuals being denied based on this model, where someone with high 700s/near 800 Fico 8 scores returns a TU RDM V1 score in the mid-upper 400s. The scale is 300-850, just like many Fico models. Coming in some 300 points lower seems a bit crazy, but I have no idea what makes this model tick. From what I can gather, it perhaps considers revolving debt dollars more strongly than utilization percentages... so where a high TCL can help when it comes to Fico scoring, it doesn't seem to help with TU RDM V1. That's just a hunch at this point and we definitely need more data on it. Does anyone have any further insight?

From looking at the description from TransUnion and the reports on reddit it looks like they're talking about bust out indicators. I found this helpful list of them on another website.
Put any of two or three of these factors into play, and there’s a good chance you could be staring down a bust-out in motion: – A large number of credit applications in a short period of time – Invalid, inconsistent, or missing personal data on applications – Sudden increases in credit limits – Maxing out on credit limits and making only minimum payments – Defaulting on payments – Lack of availability through given contact information for long periods of time
https://www.outseer.com/payment-securit ... out-fraud/ If TransUnion is viewing indicators the same then getting multiple CLIs, people maxing out cards with BTs, etc., will all have very low scores. I'm imagining that the new account impact is probably pretty high too, possibly even higher than the mortgage scores. There's not much public information about this score out there yet so it will be interesting to see the full picture as more banks start using it.

We already hit the front page of Bing. Most of the search results are just copies of a TU press release. Image
