Decided to try my luck with replacing my somewhat low bucketed S1 with a new Savor after playing around with the preapproval tool and showing all Cap 1 cards. Got surprised with a really nice $20k SL 26.24%!! That's a nearly 74% increase in my TCL. Sub is $300 for $3k in 3 months. I can hit that without any significant changes to my spend and I currently spend enough to more than break even between Savor vs SavorOne. I won't complain about Savor being a metal card either (not that it really matters). DPs: 3 of 5 existing cards are C1 (VX $11.5k , S1 $4.5k, QS $2.3k) 0/6, 1/12, 2/24 for inquiries and new accounts on all 3 Scores 689-691 for FICO 8.

Forgot to mention the approval doc rerenced a 685 score which is my EQ5 (and lowest of mortgage, 8,9, or 10 family scores.). Now i need to decide how much of my old S1 limit I should move to my VX since I'll no longer be using the S1. They're letting me do up $3894, but I'm thinking $3500 as that would leave an even $1000 on the S1 and bring the VX to $15k.

20k sl is nothing to sneeze at, though that sub is pretty meh for a triple hp.

Not difficult to get three 200-300 for 500/1000 spend for those pulls and the 95 dollar af is a bit of a hole to climb out of for 1% more dinning that is a 9,500 dollar spend just to break vs the for “good credit” 3% dinning

I know it's a meh sub relative to the spend, but for my particular situation and use case the end result is still solid. I've been running a majority of my spend through VX +S1 already and I spend enough on dining/entertainment to come out ahead vs the S1 (maybe I should cook more lol).
