The sad thing is that most people that go for a service like that don't realize how unmeaningful the score(s) are. They end up shell shocked when they apply for a product and get denied when based on their "score" going in they thought they were golden.

It is a racket. Hey we can get a random number generator and we can sell scores and use the same disclaimer that they may not be used by lenders right? I mean what’s the difference the scores they’re selling are not being used by lenders right? JS. Obviously being facetious but..

Slightly OT, but I still think we should create the Rebel Outliers Simulator. I mean, we already essentially do that when discussing proposed changes in a thread and we say "you may lose 5-7 points for that" or "you may gain 15-20 points for that" etc.

I don’t know if anything has changed, but I do recall years back Equifax provided a version of Equifax Risk Score rather than VS3. I’m guessing this is not the case anymore.

Might be worth my signing up to check. I had MyEquifax early 2000’s and believe that was the case then. Have heard reports from others of the score provided from their service not matching Equifax VS3.
