DCU is open membership. No restrictions. You just have to donate to an organization. It'll be part of the application process. It's been a while so I don't recall the exact steps. The online portal should guide him through the process.

He was scared but he got approved and he did donate to an organization so that’s pending. Awesome thank you so much! @AllZero

@AllZero Yes you are correct, I need to do that. He applied in July was approved in August and is afraid the opening date will reflect August? Any ideas? For a credit card?

I'm not sure on how DCU does it. I'm guessing approval date?
