What is your bank to Credit Union ratio?

It's an open ended question. You can answer by open membership or credit/loan products held or any way you like. Such as posting cat memes. Loan products could be categorized as: mortgage, installment (personal, vehicle, SSL, student) CLOC, PLOC, etc. Membership - bank/CU 20%/80% Credit products - bank/CU 25%/75% ETA National and Regional bank acceptable answer too.

For banking (checking/savings accounts) I've got 2 credit unions and 2 major banks, so 50/50 there.

For credit products I've got only got a HELOC through one of the CUs, no other credit products and then 9 major bank credit cards... so that would put me at 10% of products CU, 90% major banks.

Do you actually mean "National Bank"? As in NA?

My primary bank is a regional bank. As is the bank my HSA is at. I have a mortgage from my primary. I have accounts and credit products from NFCU. But I have no other CUs.

I have credit cards from Wells Fargo, Capital One, Chase, United Refining, Exchange Credit and Home Depot(Citi). But no banking accounts with any of them.

2 of those 6 are definitely not NAs.

I think you need to reframe the question to get better answers.

Regional banks okay too. If it has bank in it's name, it's good. No strict rules.

For active deposit accounts, we have two banks and one credit union, though I also have inactive accounts at two other credit unions.

For credit products, I have my car loan with a credit union and an old PLOC at a different credit union, but everything else we have is w/ banks currently. So about 22% of our combined tradelines (excluding SLs) are at CUs, 78% at banks.

Nusenda - Checking, Savings
Alliant - High-Yield Savings

Banks
Chase - CCs
BofA - Checking, Savings, CC
Citi - CCs

Most of my cash is in CUs while all of my CCs are with banks. My long-term goals are to also get CCs with the CUs so my bank to CU ratio should even out on the lending side.

Somehow I missed the existence of this thread. I'm too lazy to figure out the ratio... I'm doing business with less banks and CUs than I thought... Maybe I should add some more...

I'm not going to. Navy Federal updated the credit bureaus with my new address already anyway and I don't want to have to go the office so I'm not updating my drivers license until it comes closer to the 10/2024 expiration. I haven't had to step foot in a DMV since I was 17 when you're only supposed to be able to renew online twice (and if you have a photo more than 10 years old - for those counting, I have had the same photo for almost 22 years since I got my drivers license on my 17th birthday yet they still let me renew my license online in 2019) but it seems that era of glitchy systems has now come to an end. When there is a recent address change, your chances of being sent to fraud verification and being required to send in your drivers license skyrockets.
