I was curious of how high my FICO 2 has gotten, so today I decided to sign up for the free trial of the Premium subscription of Experian. My FICO 2 is now at 811 in case anyone else cares to know. The negative reason codes for my Auto 2 score caught my eye. My FICO Auto 2 has the negative reason code No Recent Revolving Balances as shown in the screenshot. https://imgur.com/a/pTL8bEs This is confusing to me, because my last reported Balances of my four credit cards are one card was $1 and the rest $0. If last week one credit card reported a balance, then certainly this negative reason statement is false, right? Does anyone have any insight on this? This is the only reason statement that makes no sense to me. The way it is worded makes it sound like for scoring purposes I should stop being a transactor and start being a revolver.

What type of card reported a balance? Who is the issuer? Is it a store card or not? What is its credit limit?

It is the Citi Rewards+ and has a credit limit of $2,800. It is a flexible-spending credit card I opened in March. Definitely not a store card.

That’s really strange. That card is on your EX report, and it shows a reported balance of $1 there?

I wonder if there’s something about having such an extremely low balance that does it. Like maybe the rule is coded as “if balance > $1, then cool.” Can you let it report a slightly higher balance next time, to test that?

That was my thought as well. Maybe there's something built into that industry enhanced model that looks for a balance > $1. I guess the question would be which other models show the "no recent revolving credit use" code with the same reported balances present?
