Lol… So not one to wait… the Hilton property and the comfort suites where about the same price but 60k choice points are worth substantially more… 17k a night instead of 88k Also reading the terms it appears the choice points can be purchased at roughly 2ppc independent of booking a room and the terms do not bar you from earning points/sub from buying them meaning I can hit the sub and then use the combined points to pay about 1,200 for an almost 3k hotel stay. The points themselves even if they don’t earn points is a pretty effective way to essentially get a 50% discount. Point earning it is even better.

I mean it kind of depends on a few things.
1. Is this a long term card or just a SUB for you?
2. You sound sold by choice or Hilton but what about a general travel card like Amex green or CSP?
3. What do you spend on most if this is a long term card?

Definitely just the sub... What got me thinking about it was when I went to check hotel prices and they had a banner to get 60k free points. It took me awhile to figure out how to find the point value and what not because I don't really travel a lot. I was looking for a quick easy to get sub that had a meaningful impact on a singular trip, chase cards were a no go 11/24, I was already looking at the Choice site and the only other big payout no AF card I could think of was from Amex. That is where I started, while I waited for someone from here or MyFico to respond I kept looking and realized I could turn the Choice card into about a 1,600 dollar sub If it works how I think it will, i will pay 1200 and get a 2800 dollar hotel stay. even if I dont use it again that is worth it and it has other perks like 10 elite night credits. I am team cash back as well. So, take this with a grain of salt. Me and the kids have season passes to Six Flags and while I will and do make the 2.5 hour drive each way in one day, sometimes it's nice to get a hotel nearby and go two days in a row. I am cheap so we usually stay at Days Inn which is one of the cheapest in the area. It's a Wyndham property. I was ever so slightly entertaining the Wyndham card(s). https://www.wyndhamrewardscreditcard.com/ Intro bonus is 30k points for the no AF and 45k points for the $75 AF - enough for up to 4 or 6 nights respectively. More benefits like 5x, 2x, etc. points and 7.5k points each anniversary (enough for one night), Wyndham Rewards Member Level Upgrade, etc. And I think these point can be combined with regular Wyndham rewards points. The Wyndham properties offer a lot of choices ranging from Super 8 and Days Inn up to Ramada. Just an idea!

This is the group of friends I was talking about in the pizza hut story.... However, I would never disrespect my twin turbo baby by subjecting it to that abuse, though she does love a firm smack on the tailgate getting massive loads shoved in her rear end and when feeling extra kinky me inviting along 4 friends for a ride. /Edit The picture Attachment button seems to be broken in Chrome IOS. Would now be a good time to admit my friends may have given me the title “Bob Ross of disturbing mental images” Also reminds me of the time a buddy in the same group of friends had 2 cousins visit and gave them a trigger warning before I met up then challenged me to go to say something too outrageous. At which point and in my defense how was I supposed to know one of them actually had a fiancé OD snorting coke off a strippers… Well I think you know how this story ends… Ohio right?

lol OHIO. Still better than I-80 through Pennsyltucky after leaving Youngstown, Ohio. The hills are an awesome torture test for electric cars, but wow it can be scary after taking one of the exits.
