Sad to hear Birdman is no longer with us. He was the reason I joined this forum. Birdman's encouragement/wisdom along with some of the other member's here really helped me dig myself out of a desperate/hopeless credit situation. Gave me some really good advice. Anyone know what happened?? Prayers & condolences to those who were very close with him.

I spoke with his sister recently. It was a car accident: head-on collision. The funeral is tomorrow.

That's really awful. Hope his sister knew how many people he helped unconditionally not getting much in return if anything but an occasional digital pat on the back. Pretty good example of pure kindness. He will be missed.

That was exactly what I wanted to convey to her, and I've been doing it by forwarding some email exchanges and posts he made. I think the effort he put into the Credit Scoring Primer really shows so much as well.

Man, I hate to hear this. Fly High Birdman! RIP

I am so sorry to hear this BM will be missed, Cassie is there any plans in the works to maybe pass the hat around to send flowers and/or make a donation in memory of birdman to a credit literacy foundation? I have no idea how to go about either goal but am willing to pay into either or both.

This is truly the most shocking news of the year. This literally puts me in tears. This community will be very different without him.

For now, let's just think about him helping people online when he is laid to rest sometime around 1PM today.

I knew that, that is why I asked Cassie as she was already in touch with his sister. However as Cassie mentioned let’s just have our own moment of reflection for now.

Sorry, I should have known. . I guess I was thinking of GoFundMe.... or something like that. My train of thought clouded my thinking. Yesterday I was reading a pm he had sent me awhile back encouraging me to contribute more to the biz side of credit since that's been my main focus. To honor that request I started contributing in the biz section of the forum and I'll put more effort towards carrying on where he left off. I'll sincerely try. Hopefully we can all honor his works with our own credit successes and knowledge. If it weren't for all the countless hours, days and nights that Birdman and @Cassie sunk their hearts and souls into we wouldn't have a bitch free zone to call our credit home. So @Cassie I'm here for you as much as I'm here to honor BM's memory and I'm sure all the Rebels feel the same. Your hard work is not in vain girl ....Rock on "with a Rebel yell!"
