I honestly can't remember when my last CLI was on this card... I think maybe 2-3 years ago? My last several denial reasons were something to the tune of my limit being the max possible based on my income or something. Anyway, for S&Gs tonight I requested one and was shocked to see a $2k bump-up. The funny thing is that I essentially never use the card since Citi hasn't figured out in over 2 years how to get it to report correctly to TU monthly. I can tell you exactly what my spend was for the entire YEAR of 2022. Every month starting in January I reported the exact dollar amount of the numerical representation of that month... so $1 in Jan, $2 in Feb, etc. to $12 in Dec. I just did this because it was easy to see the reported balance on my TU account and know what month it last updated in based on the dollar amount. So, doing a little quick math that means my spend in 2022 was exactly $78, and my spend thus far in 2023 has been $21. If this isn't proof that a heavy spend isn't needed for a Citi CLI, I don't know what is ;)

Congrats on your CLI!

Citi hates me lol. I just tried again and got the "nope but we will tell you why in 10 days" message.

Confused on why it takes 10 days in the age of the internet but whatever.

Probably something to do with why Citi sends me an email that my statement is ready, 2 days after I paid it to $0. Also, redirecting me to a page that shows me how to make a payment right after I made the payment. Then there's that whole name suffix saga going on. I'm missing something else ridiculous, I just know it.

Same. I always receive my Citi CLI denial letters online and have never received one in the mail.
