TU4 is supposed to cap out at 839. Has anyone ever seen an 839? I don't think it's possible. I just started a thread where I documented a gain of 11 points on TU4 when my only inquiry on TU became unscoreable. The gain was 11 points, with my score improving from 809 --> 820. https://www.creditrebels.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1377 Here's the issue though. My two negative reason codes where listed as #1 being "Too many inquiries in the last 12 months" and #2 being "Length of time revolving accounts have been established." If #1 was "worth" 11 points, by definition a lower placed negative code is "worth" less, meaning if I were to overcome whatever the threshold is for revolving accounts I would only gain fewer than 11 points. Say it's 10 points. That means my score would move to 830, still 9 points shy of a top score with no negative reason codes remaining. Thoughts? My take is that with TU4 similar to VS3, a top score simply isn't attainable.
