Got an email from Citi to check my flex loan offers so I was curious and checked it out. Previously I've used the flex loans on a few of my Citi cards including my AA cards as well as main line products. Those previous times the APR was much lower at 9.99% making the loan actually viable. Now when I go to check all *main line* products are showing APRs of 23-25% and really are worthless. Both my AA Exec and MileUp are showing 9.99% still and remain super useful in this high APR environment. Is anyone seeing similar things between main line and AA or other co-brands (costco)?

The offers always changed based on credit report activity in my experience.

Ouch, everytime I check, my rates go up. Now it's:

CC: $10,000, 36 mos, 14.99%APR
DC: $818 (really, $818?), 36 mos, 14.99%APR
R+: $6,632, 36 mos, 14.99%APR

Just checked my Citi Flex Loans and for any length of time 8.99% on all my cards. Do know it had been higher and last check was 9.99% a couple of weeks ago. Yes, I do find the rates fluctuate. This is the lowest they have been for me. :)

Sweet. I've been wanting to try a Citi Flex loan for > 2 years (since whenever they started offering them) just to try and report a $20k+ balance on my card / pay it off in attempt to stimulate a CLI. Since they haven't gotten the reporting of my account right with TU since May of 2021 I haven't been able to bring myself to pull the trigger though.

Will add to this post I finally after 16 years had JP Morgan Chase offer me their loans on personal and business cards. After picking my jaw up off the floor, I did a loan on each card type. Sure love Chase. Truth be told I did not need the loans but maybe I am really in with Chase. An aside, used to be a Providian and then Washington Mutual card holder when Chase acquired them. Many folks saw the door with Chase. In my case they "bucked me" for all but the last year or so. Now Chase is chasing me with offers beyond my wildest dreams (well ok almost wildest dreams "never mind" Cassie, no airplane here). 8-)

I have never seen Flex Loan offers on my Citi Costco. I don’t think that card is eligible for Flex Loans.

My Custom Cash is offering 11.99%.
