I knew it was coming. They sent me a letter and I had a chance to opt out but didn't get to it until like 2 days after the expiry of the letter and the automated system wouldn't let me opt out. It's been a week or so since that expiration. SavorOne slashed from $10K to $5K. It is what it is. They left it way higher than I expected. Thought for sure I was gonna have a $2K SavorOne and a $2K QS (they slashed that from $8250 during the pandemic). I could be all mad and close my accounts and such but honestly I get good value from getting the free Uber One, 10% cash back on Uber purchases, and now another 6% in Uber Cash from Uber One and I'm only using it for less than $100 a month so it was appropriate. I also use both for the VCC function. It's just weird that they have slashed my cards twice and I have never had another lender do it.

That's unfortunate. I don't think you'll see any other lenders do this assuming a strong profile. Capital One is just extremely conservative. At least you still see value in the cards. Many people would go nuts and close their card(s) down because of something like this.

Ever since I got my AOD 3%, I rarely use my SavorOne, AARP, or Double Cash. I use them once every 6 months for a small purchase. So far, my SavorOne has not been slashed. In fact, I think I got an increase, lol. Haven't checked in so long but I do not recall having a $20,000 CL. Not sure what's up with the negative balance. Nor the 3c in rewards, lol. I'm glad you made me log in tonight, I saw my Walmart card had $125 in rewards just sitting there. :D Image

So I thought I replied to this but yeah I would be pissed but the value of the card for me is quite high right now. Uber is my only means of transportation if husband isn't driving so free Uber One ($9.99 value each month) until 11/2024, 10% cash back when using the card for Uber, plus 6% Uber Cash from the Uber One subscription makes this card pretty valuable for me.
