Had an hour to kill during a meeting yesterday went through a few cards I had’t asked for a CLI in awhile. Updated my income, and spun the wheel. AppleCard 8k to 9k Freedom Flex 14k to 15.5k (card is only 3 months old). FNBO evergreen 25k to 30k (prolly should have asked for more ended up with a HP on this one ) USB, Amex, Discover told me no, but no HPs

Just another example of our government at work You'll love this, I receive a call from the Utility General Manager informing me that one of my fellow commissioners was removed from our board of commissioners due to a violation of the policy: "Respect in the Workplace" ... oh my! We cannot express ourselves now. Always liked that forced compliance. If I was to bet on a removal? It would be mine?! Follow up, the commissioner was following employees around (caught them not working) and reported to the GM. He was basically blown off on the matter ... so I am wondering?! He had previous utility employment and brought an accounting degree with CPA to the table. Inquiring minds want to know?

Don’t judge me, it was a really boring meeting, it’s not my fault they make me sit in on meetings that have nothing to do with me, listening to management unveiling some new initiative no one gives a shit about. Sides I was politely asked not to respond anymore after the last time they opened chat for comments and I posted… a gif of a dumpster fire in a flood. At least my supervisor was trying to hold in the laughing, unlike when I changed my pronouns in teams to “your majesty/your grace” I guess only some people are allowed to choose their pronouns.

I'm convinced that whole pronoun thing is yet another 'social media only' thing that HR also picked up on, and it's the only 2 places on the planet one will ever encounter any discussion of it. I never even heard it outside in one of the most liberal places on that planet - Cambridge, Massachusetts (Google just how much Republicans cap on that city!) Also, I wish I had the courage to post the dumpster fire GIF like you did. Oh soooo many times. (Wait 'til you read about Ford's new small car division over the coming years, for instance. lol)

Well I’m trans and know a lot of nonbinary people so as you can imagine, pronouns hold a lot of personal significance to myself and these many folks I know. I am fortunate to have pronouns that match my appearance after all these years, so they are not questioned and mocked. I know many who are not so fortunate and must endure. Which they do, heads held high. But it wears. Anyway been meaning to join the board here since MF was getting depressing. Hoping to have a good place to direct folks on Reddit who are looking for solid score info. So howdy.

I, uh, went on a rant there...didn't i? lol It's really nothing to do with pronouns or anyone in particular, it's just this whole attempted misdirection from very real issues that gets to me. I mean, whether its 'woke' or 'drag queens' or who gets married to who - it gets tiring watching it play out and radicalize people against one another. It just seems so simple to me: let people live their lives how they want. But the wealthy need more money, so we get this weird stuff in the media to distract people.

Took a look at the 2024 Bronco (no Sport) and found a lower price on many. Earlier (last fall 2023) the big thing was $60K to $80K+ ... now I am finding $40K+ ... yeah options but I wonder?!

It's over 2 years old already.
