You are absolutely correct, that is fantastic for your income level! To be honest with you, I think it is discriminatory that they give people lower premiums if they have a higher ACL. Or at least it seems to equal that since it’s taken into account by the algorithms at LEXIS-NEXIS that generate the CBIS score.

If I include my wife's card that I'm AU on (idk if LN does), then I'm at 10,733.33. W/o the AU card it's slightly higher. I'll probably be closing my Chase Amazon card and transferring the limit sometime later this year, which if I do should put me above 12k. I have no idea if or how CBIS has ever affected my rates. I've only ever had State Farm, but afaik both the states I've lived in allow insurers to use CBIS.

$10,375 with 4 cards.

$9,875 with 3 of those 4 cards, because my first card ever (from a credit union) is stuck at a $2,000 limit without a HP on TU.

I'd rather see how my mortgage scores react to 0/24 and without scoreable inquiries in February 2022 (7 months from now).

My peak was $30,900 last month. With the addition of Cash+ to my CR a few weeks ago, I dropped to $29,538. Once my BoA Cash Rewards shows up on my reports, I'll be at $28,033.

Hopefully I can twist AODs arm into approving me with a tiny $5k limit, which will drop me to $25,730 for ACL.

@aj2121 to be honest I’m not positive, so I calculate both ways, but I think it includes all revolving tradelines.

I would think ACL includes all revolvers, but no way of knowing for certain.

Looks like my current ACL is right around $6,100. I have a Barclay card and Chase card that were CLD'ed when my overall utilization was above 70%...I really don't want to waste HPs getting those cards above $1,000 limits. Hopefully Chase will do an auto CLI

What was your credit limit on the Chase card pre-CLD? How long ago was it and where does your utilization sit currently? I think you stand a good chance of seeing your limit restored, at least in part if you've got your utilization back in a good place and it stays there for 3-6 months. When you received your AA CLDs from those lenders, did they provide you with any reasons to go along with them? Also was your file dirty or clean at the time?

Credit limit was previously $4,500 new post-CLD is $1,500. Overall utilization was at 72% when my accounts were hit with CLDs last July. Overall utilization currently ranges between 25% - 29% and has been since March. I did receive AA letters but I am pretty sure they have been shredded for some time now. lol Main reason was utilization. File is and always has been clean, thankfully.

Cool, thanks for the info. Did the CLDs come during the pandemic when lenders were a bit more sensitive to adverse report changes? I've found pre-pandemic that rarely does utilization in and of itself drive CLDs, but no doubt that changed a bit with lenders becoming more conservative.
