Thank you! Neither can I - I am so very excited and cannot wait to share my final results. I have a couple looming CAs that I need to smack out of the park before they decide to report (they love to come out of the woodwork when the see activity on your CRs) and I should be safe and clean from then on out! SO is also so very close, too! His last CO will be gone in short order and than he will also have a clean slate! 12 months for EE on TU, 13 months for EE on EX, and 18 months for it to age off of EQ (we may take the gamble and try EE with them if temptation becomes too much haha!). Time has been going by quickly...I remember when he had 3 years for it to age off, but you are so right that when you get down to the wire time does feel like it is creeping by! I have been very tempted, myself, to just wait out my last CA on EX & TU, but that means 12-13 more months (basically same timeline as SO, but different account, funny enough!), and that feels like it will be *FOREVER* if I do that! I still want to do some deep diving into this account with the OC and see if I can get an earlier DoFD recorded because I know what it currently shows is simply flat out wrong.

@LaHossBoss i think you just have to plan it out and see what works best for you. Timing wise, money and energy. At some price and pain points - whether you’re right or wrong it’s just better to pay it. Sometimes, you’ll have the bandwidth to fight. If my own goals and objectives allowed me to wait it out, I wouldn’t feel bad about not paying a charge off. I’d focus on cards with no AF & graduation potential to cards I’d want to keep long term- just to maintain my age. I think you mentioned buying a house so you may need to accelerate your credit readiness.

@Birdman I love all of Florida! When on the Gulf Coast we scallop, have a place on SGI we love, have friends in Naples. We'll hit I-95 to the Keys, come across Tamiami trail to Naples, travel back up 75 and sometimes, time permitting, take I-10 to SGI, Cape San Blas, or Indian Pass. Florida is the best! The fishing is the best! The campgrounds are the best! We've made more friends while in Florida than anywhere else. Some of our friends from Orlando are coming up here in a couple of months. We met them fishing offshore in the Florida Keys. Floridians are why Florida is so bada$$. J-ville isn't far from us, some of my family lives there. They're our local news here in GA. I feel like I'm a Floridian, only with brown salt water (sigh). Have you lived there long?

@Birdman I will! I wanted to go to Steinhatchee last week with some friends but couldn't. They didn't get any scallops so glad we didn't. When we go there we stay in Jena with the motorhome. Once SGI has an opening there in the campground, we're going. Best Pompano fishing there is, right off the beach! DS is in our river now and caught a gator trout. We have some really, really good fishing too but nothing like the variety y'all do. Here we have to go 3 hrs offshore, to the ledge, there in Florida the ledge is so close (Atlantic side). We almost bought a $500k single wide trailer in Marathon right when the rumors of the "Bubble" bursting were ramping up....Lawdy, thank goodness we didn't. But to have a piece of paradise down there, yeah, I'd do it if I could.
