FNBO Evergreen Pre-Approval and Approval DPs

The second card I targeted in my little spree after 'completing' my rebuild was the FNBO Evergreen. I had been looking for a flat 2% CB card to fill out my revolvers after getting teased by pre-approval offers through Experian for the elusive Ollo Optimum 2.5% CB card, and not pulling the trigger on it in time only to have the offers suddenly disappear when I was finally ready to go for it. Oh, well...such is life. I saw a post on Reddit where the illustrious Birdman had recommended the Evergreen, and I used the pre-approval tool at FNBO to see if I got a pre-approval for the Evergreen Visa 2% card, and I did. Pre-approval for $8,800 SL and a fixed APR of 22.24%. After a quick check of forums on the 'other' site reporting mixed reviews on FNBO's pre-approvals, I really agonized over whether to actually hit that 'apply' button. I even messaged Birdman to ask his advice on whether to actually apply or not. I remember him saying, 'A hard SL with a fixed rate pre-approval from FNBO? You better hit that button!' Lol. After staring at that pre-approval screen for at least half an hour, I decided to go ahead and hit apply, and I'm so glad I did. Instant approval for the exact $8,800 SL offered in the pre-approval. DPs follow: Pulled EX only...not sure yet which score they used. EX FICO 8: 704, FICO 9: 720 Recent baddies all resolved with $0 balances, and no collections Previous Hard Inquiries: 1 Income: $45K annually Newest acct prior: Just 1 recent, Discover it in Aug 2021. $7K SL Wasn't too sure about the odds on their pre-approval after reading some threads, but it was an instant approval and exact SL match for mine. Very happy to have a flat 2% CB card with a nice SL of almost $9K (my highest ever) in my wallet!
