I applied for my auto loan with Affinity FCU at the time I applied for membership along with banking accounts and the Cash Rewards credit card. I was approved for membership same day, conditionally approved for the auto loan 2 days later (Affinity requested POI as my last 2 paystubs). I was informed I had 45 days to complete my auto loan after approval date. The only complaint I have with Affinity is the lack of instruction/communication in the purchasing process. They basically said to send them a purchase order for a vehicle. They offered no hint of terms of the loan or anything really prior to me going to a dealer and picking out a truck which left me in the dark a little bit on exactly what I could afford. Luckily, it all worked out perfectly. DPs follow:

Pulled EX only (1 combined pull for membership, Cash Rewards card, and auto loan)
Used EX FICO 8 Auto (718) but got this from the same HP.
Vehicle Purchased: RAM 1500 Classic Tradesman Crew Cab (RED!)
Vehicle Purchase Price: $34K
Down Payment: $8K (Paid to dealer)
Amount Financed: $26K
Loan Terms: 84 months at 3.37% APR
Monthly Payment: $346
So, in the end, I got more truck than I really wanted (vehicle shortage), and had to finance my loan 1 year longer than I had planned to get the payment I wanted, but overall, I couldn't be happier with Affinity. I hoped my rate would be 5% or a little better with recently resolved baddies and low 700s FICOs, and they beat all expectations with a rate of 3.37%. They overnighted a check which I had in hand the morning after closing my loan to pay the dealer and complete the vehicle purchase.
