Fico Resiliency Index 50, 2 neg statements:

Fico Resiliency Index is supposed to predict how stable your credit is in the event of economic downturn. I've got 2 negative reason statements provided with my Resiliency Index of 50, which lands on the stronger half of "moderate." Does anyone know at what score negative reason statements are omitted? I don't have a record of my best Resiliency Index, but I want to say it was in the upper 30s, in the "resilient" range. At that score I don't recall being provided with any negative reason statements. Interesting that the Resiliency Index seems to look to revolver:loan ratio and doesn't like a heavy amount of revolvers... but then another statement suggests that high loan amounts are bad too. For the record, I only have 1 open loan, a mortgage, that sits at about 65% utilization. If it's looking at raw dollars, I owe about $120k on that loan.

Don't the two codes sound a bit contradictory though? One says you've got too many revolvers relative to loans, which is suggestive that loans may be better... then the other points to owing too much on loans being a problem.

Just like the fico codes if you go to high of a amount on loans in the aggregate, it through the loan amount code.

If it sees more revolvers than it likes, it throws the too many revolvers code

I have stradled between being resilient and not depending on a couple minor factors, and just like MF, once in the "resilient" range (like having over an 800 score), all the negative reason codes disappear. Just wanted to mention that. I found having over $500 balance on installment loans triggered "too high" installment loan balance lol going under $500, it disappeared. But when I crossed over into being resilient and still over $500 in ILs, the code was gone.of course, now I have $80-something+ K in SLs, the code remains unless I cross into a "resilient" score. This depends on if I have higher or lower revolving util at the time I pull a 3B report.

Right now I hit 60 for my resiliency score, which has never happened to me before, I normall sit very close at the "resilient" score, on wither side of it. Right now I have several new accts, several CCs reporting a balance, and a bit higher util. This was what sent me to 60.

$500 is quite a low threshold, especially for a loan. I could maybe see $500 in revolving balances, which even seems a bit silly, but for those with loans probably 95% of people out there owe >$500 on them.

I totally agree! I will track down my old 3B pulls and take some SS of the Resiliency section.

I stand corrected I meant amount instead of percentage. However I thought it was a monthly liability not total amount owed.

That may have been it. I know both me and SO had Self Lender and my amount ($500 loan and $25/mo payment) was fine and SO's got flagged ($2.4k loan and $200/mo payment) or something like that.

What do you owe on the $500 loan?

Nothing now. That ended last early last year. I never got the flag for the $500 loan, but SO got a flag for the $2k loan.
