So my AoYA (AoYRA) dropped from > 4 years to 1 month with the opening of a new revolver. After the new account landed on my CR, the change to my VS3 was minimal if anything. My TU VS3 and EQ VS3 were both 839 to start. Both dipped down into the mid 820's with different balances reporting when I took on a HP to both TU and EQ (1 apiece). After the new account reported and my balances returned to where they were, both my TU VS3 and EQ VS3 sit at 837 currently. So basically, 1 HP + 1 new account = 2 points loss (for me) on both TU VS3 and EQ VS3. My take on it is that the loss was probably from the inquiry per bureau and that the new account for whatever reason didn't matter score wise. Anyone know any details on how the VS3 algorithm handles new accounts?

They should be the exact same at each Bureau as long as the data is the same, there is no customization. I haven’t really studied it much, but I concur. And well at least we have a dedicated forum to study it.

For sure! Even with mildly different data, my scores are the same. I don't track my EX VS3 as much as the other 2 since it's not part of CK, but my VS3 on EX has matched my other 2 and that's with different data; I still have that damn Blispay account that has only ever reported to EX. Slightly lower average age of accounts factors on EX as a result.
